I bought this phone for my son and it's great except for some reason when he charged it today, it showed on the screen that the phone is locked and needs a password.....I don't have a password for it....HELP!!

If you have set the Phone lock (Menu -> Settings -> Set Phone -> Security -> Lock Phone) then the phone is locked and needs the phone password when you turn it on. If you don't have it, then you can only make emergency calls. If that's what's happened to you, and you don't have the password (can be any number up to 8 digits long!), then I'm not sure what you can do.
Note: The phone password is NOT the PIN code. The PIN is something else, and you only get a couple of attempts to fool around with it. (I tried resetting mine using the phone password, but it was a different code, so it gave me an error and said I had only one attempt left.
I would try calling Tracfone's customer support, give them your phone number and see what they recommend.
