Q. How to turn off the key beep?
A. Yeah, the key beep or "key tone" as it's officially called can start driving you crazy especially if you text a lot or if you tend to use the phone in quiet settings. Luckily it's easy to turn off.
Sound Profile
This sound is part of the overall sound profile of the phone. So go to
Menu -> Settings -> Profiles
Then select whichever profile you currently have and press Options -> Edit. Then scroll down to "Key Tone". Here you can choose to turn the key tone off completely or simply adjust the volume down if you think that might be better.
