Right nav key launched LG 500g music player

I can't figure out how to use the mp3 player. Help me!

Hi,

It's pretty simple to use the mp3 player, but you do have to have a microSD card inserted into the slot at the back first. Once you've put in the memory card and formatted it if necessary, then you can transfer songs. You can either transfer them directly to the card by using a microSD card adapter and then sticking it into your PC or you can transfer them via Bluetooth. If you have all your mp3's on your PC, it's faster to transfer them directly to the card.

Once you've got the mp3 files on the card, you can stick it back into the phone. You can play individual tracks by going to Menu -> MyFolder -> Sounds. But that's cumbersome. It's quicker and nicer to press the right nav key as shown in the photo to launch the music player.

You can sort by Recently Played, Playlists, Artist, Album etc.

Hope this helps.

Regards,

4G SDHC Sandisk worked
by: Anonymous

Got the LG 500g this week and learned how to use the menu. Finally, put in a card yesterday and at first it said Card not ready with an X on the card symbol at the top of the screen. After inserting and removing the card a few times, decided to pop it into my camera to see if it was working. Yes, formatted it, took a pic, then erased the pic. Re-inserted it into the phone again, and yeah, it worked. So that might be one solution.

Help Needed With sd card for Mp3 Player
by: Anonymous

I have the same problem with my sd card. I have inserted a 8gb micro sd card and the phone displays an x over the card symbol. I've read that the phone only supports 4gb, is this so? Or do I need to format it and if so how?

Bluetooth
by: May Fulton

When you say you can transfer music to your phone wirelessly via Bluetooth, how do you do that exactly? Is it an adapter, a cable, or what? Do you connect it to your computer and it somehow transfers music to the phone? Once again, no User Manual so don't know how to do the most basic things. They just assume people know these things.

Don't know what I'd do without this site.

None of my music is showing up in my phone. I've noticed a Red "X" on the top left cornor my phone right beside the battery icon. Do se the x mean somethings not working or a defect in my phone?
