No Service

We bought our phone at a Kroger and proceeded to transfer our current number to the new phone. It sounded like a really good deal. After almost a month of trying to get service we still have no cell phone service.

And today we get a call on our house phone to call them. This is when we discovered that our old cell phone no longer worked and neither does the new one. I asked to have the old one turned back on (it is a Sprint phone), and was told they couldn't because the number was now owned by I-Wireless.

I-wireless sucks in my opinion, and I am not going to do any more business with them. It should not take a month to set up your phone. I- wireless I want my money back and my phone number transfered back to my sprint account.

Porting your number
by: sb

You should be able to keep your number. Don't cancel your old service until you have ported your number. Here are the steps:

1. Buy an i-Wireless phone.
2. From i-Wireless website: "When you activate your new i-wireless phone, be sure to select the number port option."
3. Follow the instructions from there onwards.
4. After you new phone works with your old phone number, you can cancel your old service.
