Making and Receiving International Calls
In the US, your phone should receive both domestic and international calls including calls from Canada. To make calls to Cannada with your Tracfone you just dial 1 + city code + phone number.
To make call to other countries you have to first dial a special access number before dialing the country code, city code and phone number.
Receiving International Texts
While you can receive international texts, you will not be able to send international texts. So your son could text you from his Blackberry, but you would have to call him back.
