The Star Gazer app on getjar is pretty cool. You can plug in your city and state, and it will show you what is visible from where you are. It also has a compass, so when you press the left and right navigation buttons you can turn the sky to match up where you're looking with the screen. And totally free!

Thanks. I did a search on getjar and found StarGaze - I assume that's it. I'll try to add a screenshot of it installed later.
