Unable to send text messages and customer service stinks.

For 6 months my LG420g phone worked perfectly. then i had trouble sending to e-mail address could never send a picture to FB mobile and finally could not send simple text messages, only mms. After hours on hold and hours with customer service (they even sent a new phone and a new SIM card when that phone didn't work) I finally found someone who identified a "bug" in the handset where it sticks at mms after sending a picture. This took 3 weeks.

She told me a way to turn off some settings (I hope I remember how) to get back to sending simple text messages. The replacement phone had the same problem as the original phone.

One has to understand how TF customer service works. :D

From my experience, the best results one gets is via Support Forum on TF Page - just keep on asking questions until you get a person who will resolve your issues. It took me a while to learn that step by step explanation and some patience and kindness above all, pay off in a long run. ;)

BTW, I am a happy owner of LG420 and thanks to this page, I discovered some feature that I never knew existed on my phone! :)
