How much does picture and video messaging cost?

I love net10 phones.I have owned one before and was thinking about buying this phone. I know that it says that texting is 3 cents per message, but how much does it cost to send and receive picture and video messages on it? Is it the same amount as a regular text messages or does it cost more? I was also wondering how much airtime does downloading music, videos, and pictures take up on the T401g?

Via USB cable or Bluetooth?

Would you have a suggestion (link) for a USB that will work for this phone? Bought a MicroSD, now just need a USB. None I already have fit. Thank you!

Hi XME,

There seems to be a bunch of Samsung USB Adapter Cables on Amazon. They all look about same and are pretty inexpensive.

I haven't tried them because I've always transferred file via Bluetooth using my old TRENDnet Compact Bluetooth USB Adapter TBW-105UB (Blue) although, if I were to get one today, I would pick one of the short, stubby ones that you can leave in the PC.

Regards,
sb

Picture messages cost about 3 minutes of airtime
by: Anonymous

Alexis,

Thanks for your question. From what I can tell, picture messaging seem to cost about 2-3 minutes of airtime time, which is about 30 cents. The T401g has a 1.3 megapixel camera, and the full image size is about 300K. You can download the full image to your PC via Bluetooth or cable. If you choose to send it via picture message, the T401g automatically resizes it to about 60K so its a reasonable. Sorry, I haven't tested sending video messages. I think ringtones cost about $3 or about 30 minutes of airtime.
