No reception at home

They just turned an ATT tower on that I can see without any obstacles in my line of site from home. We don't have any service.

A friend of ours lives three miles from us and doesn't have a line of sight to the tower and has three bars and she has the same phone as we do LG420G.

Tracfone's recommendation to us was to buy a cdma phone, but we don't have good Verizon coverage in our area.

Any suggestions? D

Hi D,

I don't know. Assuming your phone has an ATT SIM, your phone should work. Do you have reception outside your house?

Only suggestion I can think of making is to try the Samsung T245g and see if you get better reception.

Hi D,

There are 2 things that you can do.
1. Buy a new phone.
2. Call Tracfone and have them trouble shoot your phone. Your sim card may need to be replaced.

If your Tracfone cell phone is under a year old, Tracfone will replace your phone for free. They will send you a refurbished model. But you may be left without a phone for a week to two weeks before you receive your new phone.
