No Service and now getting a DNS code

Recently I was on vacation in Northern Illinois and couldn't get any service in that area. After I got home I found out that the S390G uses AT&T network towers and most of that area is Verizon. Now I need to find a good Tracfone that uses Verizon Towers.

Since I've been home I am getting the following error Code DNS. How do I get rid of it?

-----------------
Hi,

You'll have to call Tracfone's customer support about the error. DNS usually refers to domain name service and is usually only refers to accessing web sites. However, it could mean something else in terms of your phone.

Tracfones that use Verizon's network are the ones with a model number ending in C (denoting CDMA) such as the LG 501C, LG 235C etc. The model numbers ending in G such as the S390G use either the AT&T or T-Mobile networks.

Thank you SB for some good information... I did not know about the C and G codes on TracFone models.
Great stuff!
