Am I right in assuming that the "Power Save" option on the LG440G is built into the system?

Hi Richard,
The Power Save options on the 420g controls the backlight. On the 440g, you can set the screen backlight to be on from anywhere between 5 seconds all the way up to 60 seconds. You can also adjust the brightness of the backlight via the Brightness setting. However, you cannot adjust the screen backlight so that it doesn't turn on at all as you can with the 420g.
Additionally, you can also adjust the keypad backlight, and you can turn this one off completely.
