A nice phone, but ...

The big problem is that it's too easy for the buttons to get accidentally pushed when the phone is in a pocket with other items. I've had several times when I hear a tone, then look at the phone to find that it's connected to the net.

Don't see any way to lock the keys to keep that from happening.

How to lock phone

I 'upgraded' to this phone because I liked the idea of a slider and I liked the features that this one offers. However; I find this phone MOST ANNOYING as it pocket dials the browser and certain features from the quick dial button on the front that can't be disabled.

That is MOST ANNOYING. My experience with the battery life has also shown that this phone doesn't hold charge very long even when you are not using it. Do yourself a favor, and keep your regular model phone!

My 326G would not transfer pictures using a USB cable, but thanks to info on this website, I bought a bluetooth adaptor for about $20 and it works great!!

But is there any way to re-program the softkey??
by: Anonymous

I really hate the choice of "Browser" for the right softkey - but I've been all through the manual and can't find any way to re-program the softkeys.

Settings > Personalize > Home Screen > Home Keys (which is the logical choice) only reprograms the up/down/right/left button, not the softkeys

Re: locking the browser

Thanks, that seems to work! Now if I accidentally hit the button, I'm only taken to a screen that asks for a password.

Locking the Browser
by: Anonymous

You can lock the web browser:

Settings > Security > Lock Application > Browser

To get to the Lock Application menu you must first enter the phone's lock code. The default security code is 1234.

Once you get into the Lock Application menu, you can select any application, including the browser, from the list to lock.

After you lock an application (such as the browser), the security code will have to be entered in order to launch the application.

Update

After reading other comments, it looks like I can send photos to my computer using Bluetooth, which I don't have connected.

The problem with the accidental dialing only takes me to the web browser as that button is on top where it can be accidentally pushed in my pocket.
