Blocking unwanted text messages

I've had this phone for a while, and I cant figure out how to block text from people I don't like. How do I do this without stopping all sms text?

Hi,

I don't know if you can do this. There is a way of stopping calls from people you don't like (in Menu > Settings > Call > Rejection List), but I don't think that blocks their texts. I'm not sure as my handset isn't currently active, so I can't test this.

You can't block text messages using the call reject feature. This phone doesn't support text message blocking. However you can screen for text messages by not opening the clam. Pressing the volume control with the clam closed will transfer any queued text to your inbox, and you won't be dinged the .3 sec time. From there, you can delete or whatever to process the message.
