Can I lock the keys?

I have young grandchildren who like to pick up phones and push buttons. I don't want them calling people and using my minutes. I've had phones before that had the option to lock the keys. I haven't found it yet on here. Can you help?

I remember that stage with my own kids. Now they can probably figure things out about my phone faster than I can.

To get back to your question, yes, you can lock the keys on your LG 420g. You do this by going to

Menu -> Settings -> Phone Settings -> Security -> Phone Lock.

Select On and enter a four-digit security code. The default code on mine was 0000, which I needed to enter the first time.

You can change the security code by going to Menu -> Settings -> Phone Settings -> Security -> Change Codes -> Security (not PIN Codes). You have to enter the current security code, hit OK, and then enter the new security you want.
