Fix for low volume on calls

Hello again, I'd like to describe a fix/'procedure'(that worked in my case anyway) in regards to a constant 'low volume' during a call(volume would not increase by multiple presses on the 'volume up' key on the side of the phone). I've read that some other W408g owners are having this same problem.

Ok. Let's give this a shot:

1st, press 'MENU', go to 'SETTINGS', scroll down and press 'PHONE SETTINGS'.

Scroll down and press 'RESTORE ALL SETTINGS' (it will say "this feature restores all settings to their original state" 'YES',

then enter the 'SECURITY CODE': 000000(six zeros), press 'DONE'(the right soft key),

the phone should then start to reset, this will take a minute or so.

Then make a 'live' call and toggle the volume keys while the person on the other end is speaking, so you may 'test' to see if the volume increases and decreases the way it should.

You should now also see the 'volume bars' on the screen increase and decrease as you toggle the volume keys up and down (which they did not do before on my phone).

Well, that's it for now. I hope my input may help others to resolve this issue, so you may continue to enjoy communicating with others.

take care,
