Grandfathered Free-Up Plan

I am fortunate to have the older Free-Up pre-paid plan. I've had this plan for more than 10 years and I am very satisfied with it. I don't pay any access fees, but the per minute rate is kind of high. I have to add minutes at least every 90 days (used to be 60 days)with a $30.00 minimum to keep the plan going. National long distance is free and weekends and holidays are free. I pay 0.35 cents per minute and 0.70 cents per minute when in roaming.
Coverage is very good and I rarely have any dropped calls or no service. My only minor gripe is that my plan won't allow me to do anything with pictures that I take with my phone. They can't be emailed or uploaded to a computer. I believe there is some kind of cable available that would allow me to do send pics to a PC, but I'm really not motivated enough to buy one.

Edit: If you know someone who actually is a grandfather, you might show them the Jitterbug phones which also use Verizon's network.
