After many years and different providers, I must admit that Ptel offers the best value. Service is very good. MetroPCS being the worst.
As I have family in South Africa, it is a bargain to be able to text them at 2 cents a text. Local call service is very good too.
I must add that yesterday was the very first time I had a dropped call - not sure who was at fault, so I give Ptel a pass.
One great thing is that I can add $40.00 and extend my existing and almost to expire minutes for 5 months. Unlike most other providers, I can also buy 10.00 worth which will extend my minutes for 60 days. As I use Magicjack at home and Ptel for out of the home, I get to have both services for under 15.00 per month. I must add that I don't use my cell all the time, only when needed.
