No audio ringtones when receiving text messages

This is the second T-139 and I am still experiencing the inability to be alerted to incoming texts. Sometimes it works and often it remains silent and the only way to know if there is a messages (text) is if you happen to be staring at it at the time.

Settings are definitely correct and saved but the problem is it is unreliable and reverts to silent mode. The phone call ringtones work normal.

I do not have your phone. But I do know that if I do not turn my phone off once a week all of the message alerts and ringtones will stop working. At least once a week I turn my phone off to make sure that my phone will ring when I have a call or message. I usually turn it off and back on right before I charge my phone.

Turning your phone off and back on is just like restarting/resetting your computer.

I hope this is the problem and turning the phone off and back on will fix it.
