Retrieving messages (Flip phone 420G)

I have 27 days and 60 minutes of airtime and it's not letting me retrieve messages. It says Insufficient Air Time Balance and have no clue what that means. I was lower than this many times before and never had this problem. Does anyone know what's going on? I look up Sim card and it says 0/30??

I'm a little confused. Are you trying to retrieve voicemail messages? If so, then the fact that you have a positive airtime balance that hasn't expired should allow you to check your voicemail messages.

Text Messages on 2G Phone

If you're trying to retrieve text messages (possibly with an attachment), then you need a data connection. Now, I know that the 420g is a 2G phone. AT&T shut down the 2G network at the beginning of 2017. This may be leading to this error message.

If you call up Tracfone customer support they will probably send you a replacement 3G cellphone that may take care of the problem. Or you can go to Tracfone's website and order a new one yourself. You should be able to transfer your number without much problem, though you probably won't be able to get your old texts.
