Hear your Tracfone voice mail messages for free!

Did you know you can access your voice mail box from a land line and not use ANY air time minutes?
Yep! You have to set up a "password" which can be a 4 digit number and you can do that online.
Then just shut off your cell phone. Call your cell number from a land line. When you hear "leave a message" press the star key.
This activates your mail box and it asks for your password. Just press your 4 digit pass word number and you are into the main menu for your voice mail where you can do virtually anything you could with the cell but you aren't using any minutes!
Access LG 500g voicemail from landline
by Amelia

I have an LG500G and can access my voicemail using a landline, so I don't have to use Tracfone minutes. I call the voicemail number, then press *, then follow the directions to access voicemail. You have to use the password you entered when you first set up voicemail. I can also leave a message if I choose. This works on the GSM/AT&T network here in the Tallahassee FL area.
Problem accessing by phone or landline

My
LG 800g phone is not letting me access my voice mail on my phone or by using the landline with the voicemail phone number. What is up with this and what to do?

Hi Mike,
You didn't give a lot of details here so I'm not sure how to help. Have you set up your voicemail on your LG 800g? It sounds like the answer to that is yes. Then, if you can't access it, something's gone wrong, and you need to contact customer support to reset it.
As for accessing it from a landline, instead of calling the voicemail number, you can call your own cell phone number and press * (star) when you hear the menu prompt.
