I have one, like it except when i activated it and transferred my number to it from a double minutes phone, that came to and cancelled out my triple minutes I should have on the Motorola.

As long as you have a triple minutes EX124g (the early versions were double minutes phones), that should not have happened. I transferred a number from a double minutes phone to a triple minutes Samsung T404g. After the transfer, the next time I added minutes to the phone, they were tripled as expected plus I got some bonus minutes on top of that.
Again, the actual minutes I transferred from the previous phone did not change, but subsequent airtime purchases were tripled.
I suggest calling Tracfone's customer support to fix this issue.
