Is there a hotkey for turning on/off bluetooth?

Just got this phone to replace a prior Tracfone LG that did not have bluetooth. I had no problem linking the 420G to my Ford F150 sync and the contacts list easily downloaded to the vehicle. First couple of days, I am very happy with the phone, but like others, the material sent from Tracfone is very limited on the use of the phone.

My question is "can you program a hotkey to easily turn on or off the bluetooth connectivity?" I have a techie friend who claims he keeps it off when not in his vehicle since it uses more battery power every time a call comes through, and it tries to connect to his vehicle that may be sitting in a parking lot while he is in his office. He quickly turns the bluetooth back on once he is in his vehicle.

I don't know of any hotkey. The fastest way in the manual is this three-key combo gets you to the Bluetooth menu:
1. Top left menu button (-)
2. "9"
3. "4"

Then you still have to turn it on or off.

You can also set "Connection" as a shortcut via the phone settings that you access from Menu -> Settings -> Phone Settings -> Set Shortcuts. Then click "Add" and go to Settings -> Connection.

The bad news is that I have no idea how to then use that "shortcut" - it's not listed in the manual and my searches on the web haven't been successful. I'll update this if I find out.
