Love My LG600g!

In the past,one big problem for me has been that you don't really get a choice of good phones with prepaid. Not so with this phone! This phone is great, and can handle anything.

First of all, it's a flip phone, and that is the best way to go in order to protect your keyboard and the display. Mine still looks brand new after 6 months. The fact that it's bluetooth compatible allows you to get cool stuff from other bluetooth users, plus you can't beat the bluetooth headset.

The included camera is a decent one and it's a great option to be able to snap pics on the go. The speaker phone is fantastic. It has very good sound quality, and on this phone people aren't even aware when I've put them on speakerphone, which is a testament to it's quality. It's also got a great alarm and calendar on it. Can't recommend it enough!

grrr...I just ran across the following about transfering files from/to the LG600g. It would have saved me some legwork if I had known about it earlier. Hope it helps if you're planning on doing this...

I also have an LG600g (with Net10 service) that I have been pretty happy with. One deficiency that I have finally overcome is how to transfer pictures taken on the LG600g to my computer. I used the Bluetooth protocol built into the phone for use with the earpiece as the transfer mechanism. Your computer will need Bluetooth capability. Some computers have it built in. If yours doesn't, you can buy a USB Bluetooth plugin device (it looks like a small flash drive). I picked one up at Fry's Electronics for $10. HP has one available online for about ~$20. It took a little work to "pair" the phone and the computer up but I finally got it to work. :) I wish the camera definition was a little higher but the pictures are still reasonable.

Every time I enter a new number, change a background, send a text...basically do anything, my lg600g makes a sound and has a check mark graphic, I can't figure out how to turn it off, any ideas?

How is the sound quality on your LG600G? I was set on getting an LG600G until I read a review that said the sound quality was not very good. I like the flip-phone design for protecting the screen and keyboard and when it opens it provides the best physical telephone headset design.
