Switched from EM326g

I have had my EM326g for 4 days. This is my 5th NET10 phone and i have never had a minutes problem with any of them except this one. I had to program it 4 times(on the NET10 website)to get it activated. I transferred my current number to it, that may have been why.

BUT the big problem is there is no voicemail setup. I have spent 4 hours with NET10 and their corporate office technicians. The last person i talked with was at 1:10pm and he said he reset the voicemail and to shut the phone off and on several times for one hour, then the voicemail should be reset. It is now 3:15pm, and still no luck. maybe it will take awhile longer.

As far as the phone itself the keyboard is lightly smaller than the Motorola 375 I replaced. The reception bars fluctuate a lot, which never happened with the 375 Moto.

I am not sure about all the other features, I am not really into all that, but thought I'd get cool! Only time will tell.

I also purchased the Motorola 377 just because i couldn't make up my mind. I guess if the voicemail setup doesn't kick in after today, i will be sending the em326g back.

Maybe i just got a "lemon". I don't know.

Simply, a bad phone and Net 10 could care less. One call uses 1/3 of the battery life. A locked keyboard will not stay locked, or when you need it, will not unlock. Phone should be activated, that is call answered when phone is open---sometimes yes--sometimes no.

THanks for the comment. I ended up sending the 326 back and now i am using the motorola 377. It's the same as the moto 375 except this one has bluetooth, which i haven't used. THe 377 is not worth getting unless you want the bluetooth application. There are no other new features. I just took a trip and used my headset as i always have. one thing i noticed, is you have to adjust the volume of the headset with the main left/right arrow, not the side ringer volume i could use on the Motorola 375. One other thing, i haven't been able to download music or ringers, etc. I get "unauthorized use" in trying to access the web or going to the Net10 website to download. I called and of course they told me i would have to call them on another phone to recode my net10. I haven't yet, what a hassle when you don't have any other phone. One other thing is the 377 has a new game, Sudoku.

Hi Donna,

Thanks for comments about Net10's new mp3 player phone. Were your able to work out the problem with the voicemail or did you end up using the W377g?
